Frequently asked questions
HelpShelf puts cited self-service answers in the app and hosts the same published help content in a public help center. Plans expose separate monthly search and chat limits rather than support-agent seat pricing.
Yes. Crawl published URLs, paste or write content, push Markdown with the CLI, or import articles from Intercom, Zendesk, and Freshdesk. Direct Notion and GitBook import are not shipped yet.
HelpShelf is never priced per seat, so adding teammates costs nothing. Paid plans start with Pro at $49/month — enough for most SaaS companies — with Scale at $149/month when volume takes off.
Yes. Choose one accent, theme, radius, launcher style and label, side, panel style, agent name/avatar/tone, and trust-receipt visibility. A single agent-logo upload and branding removal are plan-gated. Custom fonts and custom help-center domains are not available.
